NEW Cats And Dogs Figures Apologising During A Press Conference

If you visited Japan already, you know that apologising is an important part of Japan’s etiquette. In fact, I’m sure you will find yourself bowing in Japan without noticing you are doing it. 😀

There are different levels of apology but the highest one is known as “shazai kaizen”, literally “apology press conference”. When a government official or a public figure make a serious mistake, they usually have to go through this codified apology press conference.

Recently, Gashapon released a new gacha capsule toy series where politics are replaced by… PETS! The adorable figures are SO CUTE and each animal is actually apologising for a different mistake.

This kawaii dachshund for example is apologising for “hakai koui”, which roughly means “act of destruction”!

This Shiba Inu has been naughty too and he’s saying sorry for “fumitsuke”, which translates to “trampling”.

What did this pug do? “Tsumamigui”, which basically means that he ate stolen food!

There’s also a cat in this collection of capsule toys and it’s saying sorry for ripping the wallpaper.

These figures are sold 300 yen each and the least we can say is that they are SUPER POPULAR! Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
